Stewart Steinhauer has been an artist for over 50 years. He was born and raised in Saddle Lake Cree Nation.
His work has been featured with the City of St. Albert, Calgary International Airport and more. He tells CFWE that his art happened when his daughter was born.
Steinhauer passion for creating and carving is the best part about his job as an Artist. He is obsessed with carving bears and is known as the bear guy from the public. The Cree culture has influenced his love of carving and traditional ways of life.
