Winter fun is taking over the border city as Lloydminster gears up for its annual Winter Festival on February 16. The family-friendly event will bring residents together with seasonal activities, games, and entertainment, offering plenty of ways to get outside and celebrate the season.
Sandra Brown, Recreation Programmer with the City of Lloydminster, tells CFWE her excitement for this year’s Winterfest, which is shaping up to be the warmest on record for families to enjoy.
Brown adds that new activities are planned across six Lloydminster facilities, including free swimming at the Bioclean Aquatic Centre from 12-3, along with music, crafts and more for all ages.
Brown adds there will also be traditional activities, giving families the chance to enjoy new experiences on Family Day.
