Family Day is coming soon, and the town of Whitecourt is preparing for its winter carnival. The event will take place on February 14 from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Festival Park. It will feature various family games organized by the town, along with free hot chocolate, hot dogs, and bannock.
Jaimee Sutton, the organizer of the carnival, tells CFWE that it promises to be a fun day of winter activities for everyone.
Sutton also mentioned that the town will be hosting a free family skate at JDA Place on Monday, February 16, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Attendance is free with a donation to the food bank.
