The Canadian Native Friendship Centre is seeking formal wear donations to help students in grades 6, 9, 12, and University prepare for graduation.
Loni Pruden, Community Services Manager with the Canadian Native Friendship Centre, tells CFWE the program supports families who can’t afford formal wear for graduation.
Pruden highlights the need for formal wear and Indigenous attire, including ribbon skirts, shirts, and beaded jewlery.

Donations are being accepted until April, and Pruden says a poster will inform families when they can sign up and review the items on site.
