One of Alberta’s top cultural destinations received new accommodations to make their location all the more desirable.
Métis Crossing announced their new Sky Watching Domes, giving visitors unobstructed views of the night sky from the comfort of a bed. The new domes were made possible in part to $1.45M in federal funding through the Tourism Relief Fund.
Juanita Marois is the CEO at Métis Crossing and says the new Domes will provide an experience like no other.
The Métis community has always used the stars as guidance and Marois says these new Domes will give visitors the opportunity to connect with the culture like never before.
Métis Crossing’s goal is to become a self-sustaining cultural and tourism destination and you can book your Sky Dome evenings by visiting their webpage.
