The Winter Ice Slide in Fort Saskatchewan continues to take centre stage as families line up to slide down the towering slide. It is 35 metres long and is located behind the Fort Saskatchewan Heritage Precinct in Peter Ream Park.
Jenelle Hart, Parks Services Manager for the city, tells CFWE that the slide started back during COVID to provide a different outdoor opportunity for the residents.
Hart says the slide will stay out until March, and all ages are welcome to try it out.
