An Indigenous woman Regan Gamble started a new driving service for Indigenous woman to feel safe.
SheDrives was created back in December 2025. She hopes to hit Alberta first then go national with an APP.
Regan says, she created this service to create connection and healing.
She is a residential school survivor and suffered from trauma in her journey and wants to make an impact in the community.
According to the Assembly of First Nations, 56 % of Indigenous women have experienced physical assault, and 46% sexual assault.
They’re four times more likely than non-indigenous women to be victims of violence.
SheDrives is available by phone or text 1.825.777.5595
