MacDonald Island Park is hosting Craze again, a family focused New Year’s Eve celebration that takes place during the daytime hours.
Running from noon to 4:30 p.m. on December 31st, this free event takes over the park with indoor and outdoor activities that are suitable for all ages. Activities include obstacle courses, craft stations, photo booths, bouncy castles and roaming mascots throughout the afternoon.
Live entertainment will be on the main stage in the CNOOC Field House 1, with a New Year’s Eve countdown spectacular and mascot dance party to clouse out the afternoon from 4 to 4:30 p.m.
Fireworks are scheduled for 5:30 p.m., organizers say the MacDonald Island Park parking lot facing the Miskanaw Golf Club has the best viewing location.
The event is free to attend, and is designed to give families a chance to ring in the New Year together.
