Skiing and Snowboarding is officially back in the Alberta capital this year as the Edmonton Ski Club opened up on December 5.
Alex Mickelson, Marketing Manager at the Ski Club tells CFWE, it was a long summer and they were ready to open up.
Mickelson explained how almost all of the snow on the hill is man-made because Edmonton doesn’t get as much snow as you might see in the mountains.
Mickelson said they have their regular private lessons this year as well as their Service Community Friday’s, starting on December 19.
