The Fort McMurray Oil Barons annual Teddy Bear Toss returns to Centerfire Place on December 12 at 7 p.m. as they face the Camrose Kodiaks.
Jerry Neville, the in-house arena announcer for the Oil Barons, tells CFWE this marks his 14th Teddy Bear Toss with the team, adding it’s an event you don’t want to miss – especially when the teddy bears start flying in the arena.
With students from Father Mercredi High School selling teddy bears at the main entrance of Centerfire Place, Neville says the event is all about supporting families through Santa’s Anonymous, with each teddy bear symbolizing a child receiving a gift for Christmas.
