Community Learning in Lac La Biche is hosting its Very Merry Thriftmas event from December 2-4, giving kids 12 and up a chance to pick out gently used toys, games, books and more in time for Christmas.
Organizer Colleen Pierce tells CFWE the third annual event is always rewarding, adding that it’s exciting to see families light up as kids explore the toys they’ll bring home for the holidays.
Pierce adds that the event also helps connect people within the community while giving gently used toys a second life for children who need a little extra joy this holiday season.
