Getting to know Linda Wright, the artist behind St. Albert’s “Public Art Bus”

For this project, Linda chose to create artwork around the theme, Connections Made in Public Places. Her painting, Weaving Connections to Land and Heritage wraps the exterior of a City of St. Albert transit bus for the next year and we hope when you see it out in the community, you will reflect on how it speaks to the connections made in your life.

In addition to the exterior artwork, Linda also provided 10 original artworks for the bus’s interior panels, each of which aligns with a priority area identified by the City’s Community Social Needs Assessment.
