In celebration with Métis Week, the Otipemisiwak Métis Government Youth Building hosted an Open House inviting Métis youth to explore its programs, services and take a guided tour of the facility.
Rebecca Lavallee, the Provincial Youth Representative for the Otipemisiwak Métis Government, tells CFWE the event is an opportunity to highlight a space dedicated to youth programming and providing a safe place to engage with and practice their culture.
Lavallee emphasizes that the building serves as a dedicated space for youth – a place designed to support their growth, cultural connection, and sense of community.
