Metis week is happening until Nov 22 and the Otipemisiwak Metis government hosted a seniors’ tea honoring Metis Elders’ and knowledge keepers at the Chateau Louis in Edmonton.
It provides an opportunity to celebrate the rich culture, history, and resilience, while also commemorating Louis Riel’s wrongful execution and honoring his enduring legacy.
