Two people have been sent to hospital after a Saturday morning shooting in Simon Lake.
Mounties received a report of shots fired at Simon Lake, a reserve part of Woodland Cree Nation, shortly after 10 a.m. Emergency crews located two victims who were taken to hospital by EMS. Police say both are expected to recover.
Police are seeking the public’s assistance in the investigation. Anyone with information about the incident are asked to contact the Peace Regional RCMP at 780-624-6611 or local police. Anonymous tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers.
