The Red Deer Native Friendship Society (RDNFS) is set to host it’s annual Ghost Walk Tours in downtown Red Deer from October 30 – November 1.
Nadine Szakacs, Organizer of the Ghost Walk Tours tells CFWE that the 1.6 km Walk through Red Deer’s downtown core will showcase Indigenous stories and rich history of the community.
Szakacs shares that attendees enjoy learning about the history behind the buildings featured on the tour, which includes Indigenous stories and beliefs passed down through generations.
Szakacs hopes the tour will inspire attendees to further explore and research the rich history of Red Deer.
