The Official FIFA World Cup 26 Mascots have been revealed representing the three host countries Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.
Canada’s mascot is named Maple the Moose. The U.S.’s mascot is named Clutch the Bald Eagle, and Mexico’s character is named Zayu the Jaguar.
The mascots were developed to reflect the vibrant culture, heritage and spirit of their respective countries and to symbolise unity, diversity and the shared passion for the beautiful game.
“The three mascots are central to the incredible, entertaining atmosphere we’re creating for this game-changing tournament. They’ll win hearts and spark celebrations across North America and around the world. I can already picture them on children’s shirts, high-fiving football legends,” said FIFA President Gianni Infantino in a press release.
Canada will play their first match Friday June 12, 2026 in Toronto.
