Tuesday outside the CAT building (Feltham Centre) at NAIT was the Teepee Raising and Pipe Ceremony to kick off Treaty Days. An event that features many Indigenous activities for all students to participate in and deepen their understanding of the culture.
CFWE spoke with Elder Lonny Potts, who is the Knowledge Keeper at the Nîsôhkamâtotân Centre, and he shares more with us about the significance and meaning of the Tipi Raising
