The First Nations Health Consortiums 4th Annual Youth Teepee Summit is underway at the Northeast River Valley Event Centre in Edmonton.
This three-day event empowers Indigenous youth through cultural connection, workshops, and guidance from Elders and speakers. The event features traditional teachings in teepees, talent shows, and round dancing.
The summit emphasizes strengthening communities, the importance of sport, and the arts as tools for growth. It’s a powerful Reconciliation initiative, fostering connection, culture, and a hopeful future for Indigenous youth.
