On June 10 at approximately 9:30 a.m., Westlock RCMP received multiple reports of a physical altercation taking place on the side of Hwy 18 near Range Road 261.
The incident involved two males, one driving a red VW Jetta, the other driving a blue Kia sedan.
RCMP said the driver of the Kia was witnessed holding a baseball bat after allegedly using it to assault the other driver in what is believed to be a road-rage incident.
The driver of the blue Kia departed the location south on Range Road 261. The male victim was taken to hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The blue Kia has yet to be located.
Westlock RCMP is requesting public assistance in identifying the owner or driver of the blue Kia. If anyone has any information that may assist in the investigation or dashcam video footage capturing the incident or the general area, are asked to please contact the Westlock RCMP at 780-349-4492.
