The Grande Prairie Forest Area and Saddle Hills County have downgraded their fire bans to restrictions, thanks to recent rain.
This includes Cotillion Park, Hilltop Lake and Spring Lake.
Residents can have campfires or burn barrels on private land. However, large fuel burns are not permitted at this time.
A province-wide forest protection area fire ban had been in affect since the start of June, while a local ban in the GP Forest Protection Area had been in place since the start of May.
