She began her run on Tuesday, June 10, starting in Lloydminster and aiming for Demmitt, near the B.C border.
Nicole Troyer is running 42 kilometers (26 miles) each day, with the goal of completing the 790-kilometer (490-mile) journey in approximately three weeks. She is also raising funds for the Solstice House in Clairmont through her GoFundMe page “Miles for Smiles,” which is also the name of her run.
