Go/Nitro at WEM
West Edmonton Mall was a film set once again as crews shot scenes for NBC’s Go/Nitro, a U.S. series where host/Chief Creative Officer of Skycron, Cory Carlick takes on extreme physical challenges.
Filming included scuba diving lessons at the World Waterpark and around the indoor pirate ship. Carlick announced Skycron is opening an Edmonton office and is praising local talent and government support. Despite ongoing U.S. tariff uncertainties, he remains confident in Canada–U.S. film collaboration.
Cory Carlick spoke with CFWE and shared his first experience coming to West Edmonton Mall and his excitement on discovering the Deep Sea Adventure
Carlick talked about his Main Challenges with trying to film Underwater and filming with heavy equipment.
Here, Calrick shared his experience of being under the Pirate ship and tells us about the different Marine wildlife that he found as well.
Carlick says that he looking for more fun things that Edmonton has to offer as well, especially in Indigenous Sports.
