The Indigenous and Inclusive Job Fair and Expo is set to connect job seekers with opportunities on March 6 at the St. Albert Inn and Suites. With over 30 employers set to be on-site, the event aims to create pathways to employment for First Nations, Metis, Inuit, and newcomers to Canada. Designed to foster diversity and inclusion in the workforce, the fair will provide attendees with direct access to hiring managers, career resources, and networking opportunities.
Natasha Delany, Executive Director of Indigenous Project events, spoke with CFWE about her excitement about the upcoming job fair. She highlighted that the first portion of the event will have employers focus on the real challenges Indigenous people and newcomers face when they look for jobs.
