RCMP are looking for a pickup truck and a driver wanted in connection with a hit-and-run that sent two pedestrians to hospital in Fort McMurray on Monday.
According to witnesses, the truck turned onto Ross Haven Drive from Thickwood Drive at about 6:20 p.m., accelerating and fishtailing into two pedestrians in the intersection.
The truck stopped for a moment, RCMP said, then drove away at a high rate of speed.
Both pedestrians were taken to hospital with undisclosed non-life-threatening injuries.
Witnesses report the vehicle is a black or dark coloured half-ton pick-up truck. It is possibly a GMC or Chevrolet.
