The Northeastern Alberta Aboriginal Business Association will host its 18th Annual Indigenous Business Summit on March 26 and 27, 2025, at Shell Place in Fort McMurray.
The event will feature networking sessions, a trade show, educational panels, and an Indigenous artisan market.
Renowned writer and advocate, Chris Helin as the keynote speaker. The bestselling author, lawyer, and entrepreneur is known for his work on economic independence and self-reliance. Helin has inspired Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities through books like Dances with Dependency and The Economic Dependency Trap.
“His insights into self-reliance, entrepreneurship, and Indigenous economic empowerment align perfectly with NAABA’s mission,” said NAABA Board Chair Sandy Sanderson.
