Fort McMurray’s annual free family-fun New Year’s Eve Celebration ‘The Craze’ is returning to McDonald Island Park on December 31, 2025.
Theresa Wells, Manager of Communications and stakeholders for the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo spoke with CFWE, saying that after the Christmas craziness, ‘The Craze’ is an opportunity for everyone to enjoy welcoming the New Year within the community.
Wells discusses what families can expect from this year’s event, which will include face painting, bouncy castles, wagon rides, and entertainment in McDonald Island Park.
Wells is hopeful that families within Wood Buffalo can enjoy the festivities and fireworks, with saying goodbye to 2024 and welcoming 2025 in the region.
