Students Raise Thousands of Dollars for Ben Stelter Foundation with Connor McDavid Appearance

Students across Edmonton Public Schools have raised thousands of dollars in support of the Ben Stelter Foundation. As part of the Ben Stelter School Fundraiser, eight Division schools— along with two other schools in the province and other donors—have raised more than $73,000 to fight childhood cancer. As part of the initiative, Ottewell School won a draw to welcome a special guest to the school, Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid.

Edmonton Oiler Captain and Ben Stelter Foundation Ambassador Connor McDavid spoke with CFWE, saying he was excited to be at Ottewell School, adding that with the second year of the school fundraiser, all the kids that participated should be proud.
