It’s that time of year again, the City of Edmonton is going to start taking away the pebbles of winter so summer can come and play.
Sweepers will be hitting the streets Monday, April 10 to Friday, April 14 for residential neighborhoods depending on the weather. Crews will be operating from 7 A.M. to 7 P.M., meanwhile high-volume roads will be done during the night to avoid traffic congestion.
The city is asking residents and business owners to remove driveway ramps from the curb when crews are sweeping in the area. If they are left out, crews will drive around them leaving that area upswept.
No parking signs and parking bans will be placed when sweepers are in areas designated for cleaning. The street cleaning is expected to be completed by June 1.
