The Confederacy of Treaty Six First Nation’s Held the ‘Guiding Their Spirits Home’ gathering inside the River Cree Resort and Casino from October 21-22 to create a safe space for conversation and healing for Residential School Survivors.

Kerri Randolph, Senior Policy Analyst for Indian Residential School Department for Confederacy of Treaty Six First Nations says the feeling is overwhelming as 400 attendees gathered to heal and to find a safe space to share their experiences through Residential School.

Randolph speaks on the various speakers that are featured at the Gathering such as Dr. Crystal Gail Fraser, Dr. Wilton Littlechild and Residential School Survivors.

Randolph adds that there is a sense of gratefulness to have a space created for the survivors to come together for healing from the surrounding communities across Treaty Six.
