Albertans are now able to book appointments for flu, COVID-19 and RSV immunizations.
Starting Monday, Albertans can book appointments against fall respiratory viruses by calling Health Link at 811, online or by contacting a pharmacy.
Flu and COVID-19 shots will be available starting on October 15, while immunization appointments for RSV will be available starting October 21.
Alberta Health says that people can be given COVID-19 and flu shots on the same day, the RSV vaccine must be given 2 weeks before or 2 weeks after COVID-19 or flu vaccines.
Albertans 60 or older who live in continuing care or senior living accommodations will have access to the publicly-funded RSV vaccine, as well as the COVID-19 and flu vaccines.
Anyone who would like to book a vaccine appointment online can so do through the Alberta Vaccine Booking System.
