The Fairview Health Complex Emergency Department will be experience another temporary disruption this weekend.
From 7 a.m. on Friday until 7 a.m. on Saturday, September 21, the emergency department will be without an onsite physician.
Nursing staff will remain on site for urgent triage and assessments, EMS will be re-routing calls to neighbouring facilities.
AHS says the distruption could be canceled if coverage is found. Two other disruptions are expected for next week.
