From seeing an array of pilots, aircraft and local aviation schools, the 3rd Annual Girls in Aviation at the Red Deer Regional Airport is gearing up to take flight to inspire future generations of women in aviation.
Nancy Paish, interim CEO of the Red Deer Regional Airport spoke with CFWE as speaks on her excitement for their 3rd Annual event for young women to see the many roles they can become in the world of aviation.
Paish adds that Women in Aviation represents only 3 percent in the industry for careers, with the event being vital to show and inspire young women to pursue such as a pilot, flight attendant, and aircraft engineers.
Paish says it’s an honor to see what the future looks like in the Aviation industry from the many participants in Girls of Aviation.
