Two of the biggest summer events in Edmonton ended on July 28th with two differing results.
K-Days officially finished on Sunday and organizers are proud to say attendance was up 33% this year. A total of 741,905 attended the festival with the highest daily attendance sitting at 127,875.
While KDays is celebrating an attendance boost, Taste of Edmonton saw a decline in festival goers from 2023..
In 2024, the Taste of Edmonton attendance finished at 210,000, down 20% from last year. Taste of Edmonton officials accredits the hot temperatures over the week for the dip in attendance.
2024 was comparable to 2019 that had several rain outs.
