Lac La Biche Summer Days Announces New Event Location

From pancake breakfasts to rides at the Midway and a new location, the 2024 Lac La Biche Summer Days returns for August 2-5th.

Lac La Biche Summer Days announced their new event location will be at the Bold Centre, with the Midway located in the main parking lot and the slow pitch tournament held on the three new baseball diamonds on the facility grounds.

Chenee Miller, special events coordinator with Lac La Biche County speaks on what attendees can expect, as well as the parade route to kick things off for Summer Days.

Miller add that having the Summer Days allows spaces to be utilized for shelter within the Bold Centre in cases of heat or rain, and usage of indoor bathrooms and facilities within the Bold Centre.

Miller speaks on the entertainment that the Agricultural Society will be hosting artists like Kyle Desjarlais and Co. and having Edmonton’s own Jessa Sky performing at Summer Days.

With a lot of uncertainty from the community within Lac La Biche of how Summer Days will turn out at the Bold Centre with the ongoing construction for the new public pool, Miller is hopeful that the community trusts the process with the changes that come from once was known as Pow Days within the town of Lac La Biche.
