Two people are missing Friday morning, 12 hours after they were lost in Smoky River.
Around 10 p.m. Thursday night, McLennan RCMP were informed that two people had been caught in the river’s current.
Search and rescue efforts are ongoing as of Friday morning, RCMP are asking visitors in the area to stay away from rescue operations.
There are no other details on the people lost.
