Slave Lake Native Friendship Centre
From Drum and Rattle making, to land base teachings and beach days, the Slave Lake Native Friendship Centre Youth Program registry is open for ages 12-17.
Barb Courtorielle, executive director for the Slave Lake Native Friendship Centre says she’s excited to see the children return to try new things and to get involved with the many programs that will run Monday-Thursday.
Courtorielle speaks on what youth can expect from this years programs that will run all year long.
Courtorielle is hopeful that the youth will learn more about their culture and to be proud of where they come from, and to feel accomplished when they participate in the programs.
