Morning travelers can expect delays on their commute to work with an accident in SW Edmonton.
EPS Major Collision Investigation Section is investigating a collision just west of the Terwillegar Drive overpass affecting Anthony Henday Westbound traffic.
The right lane was closed while crews work and the left lane was slow moving.
At approximately 7:00 a.m., a 19-year-old male was operating a Ford Ranger westbound on Anthony Henday Drive at Terwillegar Drive.
The Ranger made a sudden lane change from the middle lane to the right lane striking the front end of a Ford F150 that was travelling in the right lane.
Both vehicles went off-road into the north ditch where the Ford Ranger rolled before coming to rest.
The occupants of the Ranger were taken to area hospitals by EMS with non-life-threatening injuries while the driver of the F150 was unharmed in the collision.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the collision.
