Leduc RCMP are investigating a robbery that left one man injured.
On the evening of May 28, at approximately 7:40 p.m. a patrolling Mountie was approached by a man who wished to report a robbery that had occurred at approximately 4 a.m. near the west side of 50th Street south of 57 Avenue in Leduc.
In the statement made to police, the 62-year-old man wads approached by by two suspects who then struck him on the head and proceeded to steal an undisclosed amount of money from his wallet before fleeing the area.
The man sustained non-life threatening injuries according to RCMP.
