The family of a man who is currently on life support is pleading to the public for answers by way of information and perhaps video footage.
Jennon Morin and his brother were both at the Grand Villa Casino, gambling in the Ice District following the Edmonton Oilers game against the St. Louis Blues last Wednesday night.
Morin was happy that he had won money that night and both him and his brother took the LRT home.
They travelled in opposite directions from Bay Enterprise Square station and Jennon’s brother had texted Jennon’s girlfriend, Lindsay Beaudry when they boarded their trains.
Video surveillance, confirmed by EPS shows Jennon departing Centure Park transit station shortly after 10 p.m. that night, heading westbound on 23rd Avenue to his Terwilliger home.
The weather was close to – 30 that night with the wind chill factored in and the initial plan was for Jennon to take a taxi according to Beaudry.
The Morin family obtained dash cam footage which later showed Jennon continuing down 23rd Avenue, near 119 Street but he never arrived home. This was out of character for Morin, so Beaudry contacted police and reported him missing.
Beaudry, who works at the University of Alberta Hospital was getting off shift on Thursday morning just as Beaudry was beng rushed to hospital.
Jennon was found unconscious at roughly 6:15 a.m., approxamitely 10 blocks from his home, near Rabbit Hill Road. He was declared deceased when paramedics arrived and started CPR and continued until arriving at the U of A Hospital when they begabn warming him.

Morin arrived with head wounds, scrapes and bruises that may indicate a possible assault. His puffy Tommy Hilfiger coat and contents of his wallet were also missing.
As per an Edmonton Police email, they are currently investigating but the family is looking for answers and hoping the public may be able to help.
For the past 5 days, Jennon has remained on life support.
Any one with doorbell footage or dashcam footage related to his injuries from between 10:00 p.m and 6:00 a.m. wednesday night and into thursday morning is asked to contact the EPS non-emergency line at 780423567 or #377 from a mobile phone.
