Visitors to the Sylvan Lake Food Bank are now greeted by a colorful new mural, designed with input from local young people.
Artist Jason O’Connor painted the piece, which features the town’s well-known lighthouse framed by uplifting words, animals and figures.
Students from area schools had a hand in shaping the artwork, offering ideas that guided its final look.
The project was made possible through funding from the SOARING Grant and backing from the Town of Sylvan Lake.
