Tyler Braden is a lot of things at once; a songwriter, guitar player, a classic country troubadour and an electrifying performer. He’s able to turn any stage into a full-blown singalong with his deep personal storytelling songs, and his voice that that carries soul and honesty. He’s earned recognition as a “country powerhouse” as his peers in the country music world.
Tyler started out playing marathon covers for local crowds throughout his high school years, and years later started working as a firefighter. Luckily, his shifts left him having spare time to focus on another part that he was also passionate about, writing songs.
In 2024, he reached a new level in his career with his song, Devil You Know, which has already reached half a billion streams online. He’s also been named one of the Grand Ole Opry’s NextStage Class of 2026, and he’s ready to head into the year with momentum and his next chapter already underway.
Right now, he’s out on his The Days of Gold Tour with Steven Lee Olsen, and they’ll be making a stop at Midway Music Hall in Edmonton on Friday, November 6th.
Brooklin spoke with him about his upbringings and what he loves most about being on stage.
