The Skydancer Indigenous Culture Centre is creating a shared future through Truth and Reconciliation. Their purpose is to foster understanding and healing through this, where they offer a space where Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples can come together to learn, reflect and grow – guided by culture, tradition and mutual respect.
September 30th is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, and they’ll be holding an event at the Horizon Stage in Spruce Grove.
From 6:30 to 9:00pm, you’re invited to share knowledge and reflect through speeches, stories, live performances and more.
Dianne Meili is the President of the Skydancer Indigenous Cultural Centre, and spoke to CFWE about what this day means to the Cultural Centre, and what you’ll be experiencing at their event.
