Darla Daniels is a singer-songwriter and everything in between from Buffalo Lake Metis Settlement. She blends contemporary country, folk and Metis fiddle all together to bring you something magical!
Through her career, she’s been able to bring her Metis music and culture onto stages all across Canada, and coming up in January she’ll be performing somewhere that’s very special to her. You can see her perform live on Saturday, January 23rd at the Shell Theatre in Fort Saskatchewan, where she’ll be bringing you a full production.
Darla also has a brand new song out, Music To Me. It’s a warm, upbeat pop-country track about rediscovering creativity, joy and connection.
Brooklin spoke with Darla about the new song and why this upcoming show is so special to her.
