The Grande Prairie Friendship Centre has its 5th annual Grande Gathering Gala coming up on Saturday, April 18, at the Bonnetts Energy Centre. The event brings community members together to celebrate indigenous culture and strength.
Lois Duke, Chair of the event, tells CFWE that the event really highlights what the indigenous community is doing in Grande Prairie.
Duke explained that the gala will have live indigenous entertainment, including music and dancing, as well as an indigenous artist who will be auctioning off art.
