The Royal Alberta Museum has launched a new temporary exhibit titled “Chez nous; la francophonie de l’Alberta,” which highlights francophone culture and tells the story of French-speaking individuals in Alberta.
Meaghan Patterson, the Executive Director of the museum, tells CFWE that the museum staff was responsible for creating the exhibit.
Patterson explained that they are always looking to tell diverse stories, and this exhibit serves as a wonderful opportunity, especially with 2026 being designated as the year of the francophone.
