Maskwacis RCMP say two suspects are in custody as a result of heavy police presence earlier Thursday in Ermineskin.
Police say they are not looking for any additional suspects and are expected to remain in the area while they investigate.
Officers were called to a firearms-related complaint near Range Road 244, between Township Road 460 and Township Road 454.
Mounties said additional details about the investigation is anticipated to be released on Friday.
