Poundmaker’s Lodge Treatment Centre is an Indigenous addiction treatment in St. Albert, Alberta. And the Board of Directors of Poundmaker’s Lodge Treatment Centre announced today it’s re-opening of residential treatment services.
The facility had to temporarily suspend residential services due to a fire on June 14, 2025.
The lodge is opened to everyone from all walks of life. Through concepts based in the cultural and spiritual beliefs of traditional First Nations, Metis and Inuit peoples in combination with 12-Step, abstinence based recovery, Poundmaker’s Lodge also offers opioid treatment and an Indigenous wholistic treatment experience that focuses on the root causes of addiction and empowers people in their recovery from addiction.
