Kickstand Edmonton celebrated it’s first birthday on March 12,2026 operated by YMCA of Northern Alberta providing mental health counselling, primary healthcare, Indigenous wellness, peer support, life skills training and more to young people ages 11-25.
The services is FREE with no referral needed.
There are different areas designed for every need: multipurpose rooms where young people can come together to have fun and play games like Dungeons & Dragons, and private, soundproof rooms where you can speak with a counselor.
Raven Radio Network talks with CEO + President of the YMCA of Northern Alberta, Katherine O’Neill says ” The program is needed for the youth by meeting the needs of youth. It’s a fun and funky spot to get help”.
