The Todd Gustavson Memorial Battle of the Badges will occur on Saturday, March 7, at 12:30 p.m. at the Cenovus Energy Hub in Lloydminster. This event will feature a friendly hockey game between the Lloydminster Fire Rescue and the RCMP, with proceeds going to Inclusion Lloydminster, The Olive Tree, and the Salvation Army.
Curtis Johnson, Coach and Training Captain for the Lloydminster Fire Rescue, tells CFWE that last year they raised $4,823 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lloydminster.
Johnson emphasized that, although it is a friendly hockey game, both teams are competitive and eager to win.
